I'd imagine this is the case, Beesley said there had been interest for a while now, and Max Power also said that he had agreed to join us before the season had even ended (which is funny considering his departure), so I'd imagine the announcements are mostly scheduled around player availability over anything else.

You've got to imagine someone has signed in his place and just not been announced.

Sounds like from todays interview that GA sees Tyreik playing as a wing back more than a winger, doesn't look like a system change is coming any time soon. If we play the way we did up until November, then fantastic the 5 at the back worked a treat. If we are still hoofing it and the lone striker has nobody within 20 yards of him, feels like a bit of an insane strategy to stick to.

If TW can improve on his evolution as a really valuable squad member I can see us quite quickly extending his contract beyond the extra 12months . Adding goals to his evolution to wing back will see a demand thus adding value?

 

I think its a common issue when we get players from PL or Championship clubs. They are used to playing in a certain way with players around them who play the same. It takes a while to adapt to playing with lower league players who maybe aren't quite on the same wavelength. I thought it was really noticeable when White and Ashby made their City debut, both coming on together, that both were comfortable playing in tight spaces surrounded by opposition players, whereas most of our own players weren't. That said White is probably just too light weight, but I think there's a definite player in Ashby

I guess we are probably going back to training some time in the week commencing 22nd? I cant imagine they'll have the forum knowing fans are going to ask about new signings and pre-season without the, having a few days with the squad under their belt? Got to be seeing some more positive transfer news in the next 10 days or so.

 

So why not tell us we will announce new players when they come back from holiday instead of saying nothing at all?

Whats the panic. 8 or 9 weeks to the start of season. Probably 3 weeks until pre season training.

We had most in place for pre season training last year, I am sure this year will be the same.

 

Oh shit, yeah you're right. You'd better ring the club up and let them know because they've obviously overlooked it.

 

And no fixtures yet either. Absolute disgrace that I can't book my hotels and trains yet.
