There was noises around it earlier in the weekend and the Stockport journo now has confirmed it. Probably announced in the morning.

 

Why on earth did Challenor release him without even offering him a deal or more likely the case , seemingly Challenor was hard to get along with if a player wasn’t one of his favourites.

Talking last week to my Sheff Weds mate at work, he has a few ITK types working at the club, it's not at all gone unnoticed that Challinor hasn't jumped onto another role. There's a very awkward looking elephant in the room at Wednesday and they believe that as soon as a few results so sideways, Pederson will be out and Challinor will be in. Massive pinch of salt obviously.

If he knew he was going, and Wilson knew he was going, it's not that surprising that everyone was released.

Mitchell looks to be off to Plymouth, but wouldn’t it be great if we were teasing a green Plymouth colour kit and announcing Mitchell in it…

 

Yeah, it’s a shame because he would be a fantastic signing. I saw he liked a picture of Plymouth’s first day training, so likely will be announced there soon.

 

Interview with Tom Cleverly yesterday said at this time they couldnt afford the new keeper and Mitchell, they signed the keeper yesterday. But given their striker is likely to leave for few million they will then be able to buy him and he may well be holding out for them but if we could nip in and pick him up that would be a great signing, albeit unlikely!

 

Yeah it sounds like Plymouth are a bit stuck. Cleverly made it sound like the budget is already spent up and they need Tolaj out to free up some money but they aren't budging on a cheaper deal. I think it was Stoke who were rumoured to have bid a few million for him but Plymouth wanted about double. They've also come back and a few first teamers are out for a while, two of the lads had to have surgery i think they said and wont be back into training until September.

 

White is a good signing though and Mitchell would be too, adding to a side that was playing well at the end of the season means they could be strong.
