    Doubt he'll be going anywhere then. Can't see anyone paying anywhere close to that, can't even see a championship side paying more than 750k - if there's any interest at that level.

    If we are supposed to be one of the teams in for him then that fee will mean we will also be out. This would have been a great signing and a great replacement for Power.

    Yet, we’ve just banked up to £2m on the sale of Metcalfe who, many on here claimed only had a decent middle season and finished “average”???

    The Donnie player is worth at least the same as Jensen

    He would be elite. Donny fans saying that fee but reality is it will be no more than £1m given he has 12 months left. £750k may do it...still sizeable but getting a cracking player in his peak.

    No one apart from the brokers of this deal no what we've received for Metcalfe though it would have been nice to know. As for Bailey all depends how many clubs show an interest. Would be a good signing but only if the price is within budget, otherwise we look elsewhere

    I hate this rumour culture that social media has driven. I prefer the days of just learning of a signing once it’s been announced.
    Twitter is full of people who haven’t got a clue and just throwing muck until it sticks.
    The smart clubs are the ones who keep their business close to their chest imo. Not easy nowadays granted but still possible.
