    And why the rush? Just to appease impatient fans?

    Maybe at the players request so they can say goodbye to team mates, prepare their leaving statement before its announced. Maybe even given the former club the courtesy of preparing their own comms about a player leaving.

    A few factors nobody considers.

    i wouldnt say that two days after is a rush, we seem soon to know about players going the other way pretty quickly and in Powers case a week before he actually left
