He was absolutely our best player, I'm not sure anyone can argue that he didn't deserve his end of season awards.

We had the same discussion last July if you remember though. People writiing him off as too old and can't last a full game let alone a season, I've noticed those people went silent on the topic after the very first game.

I think they borrowed against the parachute payments to access the funds earlier. They will technically get the parachute £, but it will go straight to creditors.
