Jatta is six games. 3 for the straight red and three for the assault and refusing to leave the field thereafter I believe . The latter was a separate charge brought later.

I was wrong, Sutton's was 6 games as well but he missed 2 games at the end of the previous season so it was only (lol) 4 games when he signed for us.

 

Walsall fans were suggesting he’s going back to them . Something they seem to have forgotten?

 

Ultimately he is going to go to the club that Stoke and Lowe feel will offer the best opportunities and benefit him the most. Our record with young loanee strikers is nothing short of abysmal so if I was Lowe, I would keep well away from VP if history is anything to go by.

 

Only because our loan strikers have generally been garbage! If he was loaned here and good enough he'd play just like other decent loan players we've had.
If I was Lowe I'd look at the likes of Adaramola and jump at the opportunity, playing in a decent stadium in front of decent crowds what's not to like? If he came here confident and produced the goods he'd be loved and have a great time, if he struggled he'd not get much game time which is exactly how ir should be!!!!

 

Personally I wouldn't go for a loan for Lowe the reason been look what happened to Walsall, if he had a great half season and got recalled it leaves a big hole and hard to fill especially in January. I would rather we brought in someone that would be our player and not give another club the power to wreck our season .

 

Cook could be ready to take over by then.

 

I'm struggling to remember the last young striker we loaned who did well to be honest? We seem to do better with the lads on loan at the other end.

 

Not young, but the last loan striker we brought in that did well for us was Cook.

 

Or NOT . We must plan for both eventualities so a loan player is the cheapest option.!
Head in the sand and fingers and toes planning if we don’t .

Nathan Lowe rumoured to be joining Bradford on a season loan.

 

We'd have to have a no recall clause in there like we've had in the past. Whether Stoke would go for that is another matter.

 

Garbage for us, but not necessarily for others - Harratt (Port Vale), Mellon (Morecambe), Costelleo (Northampton).
