As many forecast , he won’t get a look in this term unless Neuf gets a bad injury, which he’s not noted for . I wouldn’t expect him to move on though tbf other than letting his deal run out or someone came on with a fee.

We sell Brad, Neufville snaps his cruciate, we are stuck with Hunt as our RWB. Madness.

If this club is serious about progress and challenging for promotion then we need 2 decent players for every position. GA loves his rotation so Halliday will get plenty of starts and plenty of opportunities. He is no longer an automatic first choice but he isnt the only one.

No you couldn't. Touray snaps his ankle are we upset with Richards coming in? Metcalfe for Power? Pattison for Leigh? Lapslie for Sarcevic? Baldwin for Pennington?

Lets not compare any of the above to Hunt eh.

We had Kavanagh and Mellon last season in a promotion challenge and we still loaned him out to Guiseley. Doesn't scream highly rated to me.

That said I am more than happy with him as our 4th/5th choice option this season.

Oh come on Park, he’s not getting remotely close to playing for us , so you would think a L2 club as a minimum would see him progress and develop , but ask why no one wants him ……..other than non league sides?

I would be happy Hunt covering for Neufville.

I just have a feeling Halliday will want to be off. Last year of contract and losing his place to Neufville already.

I think Halliday would still be a regular with a league 2 club.

We shall see how it pans out.

 

My mate watched him play for us I think at Chorley who have taken him probably on the strength of that said he looked really decent and put himself about really well for a youngster. So let’s see how he does

 

I think he sticks around for the next 12 months. He is an important part of the squad and his best mate Wright has just signed. Halliday will probably start against Blackburn and possibly Posh away. That Stockport midweeker will see a small shuffle of the pack.
