Summer 2025 transfer rumours

Anderton had the most premier league appearances of any outfield player for Spurs until very recently (passed by Son and Kane), was very harshly treated with being the by-word for being injury prone!

 

Anderton was there 12 years though and Son has just done his ninth with Kane passing it in a similar amount of time so which ever way you spin it, it's still 3 years out of 12 that Anderton was probably unavailable and around 1/4 of his time at the club.

I've also just read that DA averaged 24 PL appearances a season from his time at the club so that probably backs up the roughly 3/4 figure above.

 

He was there 12 seasons! He managed 39 PL in 3 years when he developed the sick note name. Came back and managed a full year, then missed half a season 2 years consecutively. Then did that again!!!!

 

Is Kelly just carrying yoo much bulk. Reece James had that issue and last 6 mo the he's apparently cut down on the weights/muscle he's carrying in a bid to stop the injuries

 

What were his injuries last season? I cant remember.

 

Two injuries were Hamstring ..then his last was ankle.

 

GA to make his mind up over the weekend about whether to offer Hunt and Magloire a contract.

 

Magloire the only outfield player to stay on the pitch for the full game yesterday. Injuries have certainly done him a favour in terms of giving him an opportunity to try and earn himself a contact.

 

It's his groin again probably more to do with the technique he turns with because as lcb he has to do that left back type defending with a CBs frame. As much as I admire his old fashioned defending ability he doesn't have the intelligence or physique that you need when having to play LCB and he gets caught on the turn loads. The stress he puts through his groin and lower abdomen and kness must be huge

Yes, can see him being offered a short term contract at least, especially if Kelly likely te be out a while. GA has worked with him before at Motherwell

 

Did Hunt do well?

 

Yep I see him getting a 5 month deal perhaps. Baldwin suspended, Kelly wont be fit, we are down to 4 CBs for first few games. Goodman may get a chance if not.

 

Looks like he got a sentimental deal...guessing one of the lower earners given where he came from. His injury record a worry and now we need to pay another wage.

He's only had an account since May but to be fair to him, he's got quite a few right so far.

 

I'm just passing on what I see, not saying it's an actual rumour. The fact it's come from an Exeter account is pretty random, that's why I thought it came out of nowhere. Also it's more realistic than people talking about Windass. This is a transfer rumour thread and it's gone pretty off tangent recently, so try not to be always negative and condescending like you usually are.
