    Sounded like they may come in closer to the start of the season since GA said clubs like to see how they go in early pre-season first.

    The PL clubs have to submit their squads in early Sept. Those squads will no doubt include their younger players who they expect to play this season. Some of the others will go out as loanees to EFL clubs. Once the PL clubs start to make decisions on their squads, the potential loanees become known. For some clubs, that will be after our season starts. The transfer window closes on Sept 1 and I suspect there'll be some late loanee transfers as a result of the PL timescales.
