I would have done but after talking to a friend who's a Rotherham fan, he was absolutely elated when he resigned. However he has said he doesn't run, or works hard enough and they are desperate to get rid of him. I'm not sure he'd be a GA type of signing with that mentality.

Injuries have caught up with him it seems. Reading about him from Rotherham fans and paints the picture he's nowhere near the player they had first time around.

Sounds like his legs have gone from their perspective. Looks like he had a small knee ligament thing last season, hamstrings and a calf issue, but the Rotherham paper says he lost weight to get back into shape after the calf? So sounds like at one point he might have been playing with a few extra pounds from the local rag. Putting your captain up for a move is a statement tbf.

 

GA saying Wilson and Smith can go. No mention of Oduor so may want to keep him as a CM option.

 

Is Windass being talked about just cos his old man played for us? I can't see us being able to support his wages.
Anyone else who's dad played for us - Cadamarteri has a son playing who has a rather average goal rate - ticks the boxes. Maybe time for Luke Hendrie to come home?

Well he said it about Smith and Wilson - letting teams know they are available.

 

Probably because he is a decent striker, and would improve us. While his wage demands are maybe out of reach, it wouldnt be impossible because of Dean, and his relationship with David Sharpe (Wigan) and Ryan Sparks.

 

I wish Wilson well , still learning even at 25 ?. A north east lad , maybe Gateshead/ Hartlepools or a return to Wales FoC .
Smith , sadly doesn’t tick any boxes for me whatsoever , never has with those rod iron hamstrings

 

That's a good answer. Fingers crossed something happens. Ironically, cos of his dad, I've been following his career. I like him.

I believe if the players don't get paid on Monday, they are free to walk away from their contracts.
That would be two months without getting paid.

 

Some were paid last week, it was all over the sports press, likely those under contract and of value .
