You're correct. He was excellent a few years ago.

 

Wildschut is ex Boro and ex Wigan. If he's had ACL issues he ticks all our boxes.

Edit: just checked and didn't even realise he missed all 24/25 with an ACL injury. LOL!

He was just invited back for training. No monthly contract. Keep fit/prove worth a level up.

The fact that Wigan are only taking him on loan says that his wages were high and Wrexham are still probably subsidising them.

Think that guy is Tyreik Wright or Smith. Contracts end on the 30th so released players may be able to train with City for fitness reasons. Didn’t Wright wear 17 last year?

 

People have notice Wildschut has started following the club on social media too. The only other club he follows online is Exeter, who have recently released him.

 

He was invited back for pre season. No contract offered at this stage and last week, the Carlisle fan that visits us occasionally said he'd been spotted at Brunton Park.

 

Might mean nothing, but Touray is wearing number 3 on his training gear in the photos.

 

These two are running the risk of not being as fit as other players for the start of the season and then having others start ahead of them and struggling to get back into our team or whichever team they sign for. Need to get their agents to pull their fingers out.

A real comedown from Friday......we are back!

 

Come on it’s nothing of the sort. Halliday was in his mid twenties when he had his bad injury. This fella was 33. We are better than this full stop.

 

When i say Touray had signed and then heard him talk about GA, it made me wonder if he was an Alexander pick. I mean, im sure the recruitment set up recommends all sorts of players but ultimately Alexander was a defender and I wonder if he looked at last season and saw Wright clearly isnt a left back and suspected Richards would be off and how wed lucked oit a bit with Tayo and said to Sharpe - I want this guy. We've faffed around with left wing back and it's not worked, I need a guy i know and can trust.

Maybe completely wrong but it's something I've wondered.
