But maybe as from the point above it's because they were more defensive? I personally can't question GA's signings, because they have all been fairly good, the only one I can think of which hasn't been great is Byrne, but saying that he wasn't terrible and did a job at times. Unless anyone can think of a poor GA signing and I'm missing someone. If we're looking to offload Wilson, Oduor and Smith, I get this signing as an attacking midfielder, if we still sign 2 more strikers and don't pin our hopes on Browne up front.

Looks like he can play the Sarcevic role or go up top with AN Other in a 532 as opposed to 541. . It might be all b/s , but there us no question where Dons played him .

 

If you look at all the interviews with club back room staff over many months, and even recently at the forum and the Jamie Raynor/GA interview, they do due diligence in spades.

 

Wimbledon fans saying he’s a talented player who just can’t stay fit enough and his no. of appearances back that up. Bit more of a gamble signing then, I don’t mind the odd one or two of those and he’ll be on cheap wages if he signs

Yeah... one year, option in our favour, low wages. As someone said above, you can have one or two of them a year - low risk, high reward

 

I'm not sure they were defensively minded. Just defensively strong. Be interesting to see some stats on that.

In January that account said we were signing Alex Hunt from York. Last summer they said we were signing Charlie Wyke and also Charlie Brown from Morecambe, as well as saying Harry Chapman was signing for Notts County. I reckon they've seen the city fan on twitter who keeps calling for us to sign Ben Woods and has got the name mixed up.

 

Same account said Doncaster are signing Jetta for 500k
