Johnson has been a regular at Halifax for some time,and is very well regarded in the National league.

 

Millenic Alli at Halifax. Good stats this season for a winger, 10 goals. Ripped Wrexham last week with 2 goals.

 

Wouldn’t surprise me if Lewis was subject of a bit of transfer interest

 

Doubt it he’s too small…

 

I think recent displays have shown that Lewis still has a lot to learn.Much as I appreciate he has been a big upgrade on what we have had recently,I don't think he is yet at the stage where people will pay money for him.

 

I'd be on the phone to Palace asap about Banks situation for next season regardless of which division we're in, still a bit raw obviously but definitely has the talent and potential to become a good L1 player. A lot of our fans were too quick to get on his back earlier in the season when the game wasn't going his way, but he always tries to go forward and doesn't go hiding by just passing backwards.

 

He's also started to get to the byeline and cross with his right foot instead of always cutting in on his left. This obviously makes him much more dangerous.

 

Spot on. So much more dangerous when he can go left or right foot.

 

I think the video of his goal last week showed the value of going outside. The defender positioned himself expecting Banks to cut in, when he went out, there was no way the defender could recover and it left Banks with a free shot. Good to see!

 

I'd like to think he would be interested if the money was right ..

 

I'm not sure we can afford him. Palace paid a decent fee so firstly, the compensation might reflect that and secondly, these EPL2 lads earn incredible amounts for young kids so potentially his wage expectations might already be way past what we might be able to offer.

I wouldn’t be so sure about the wages. The ones who are in the edges of the first team and playing in cups and preseason tend to be higher and the ones playing for the big clubs. I’d suspect Banks is probably earning around the average of what our squad are earning. The fee being an issue though as Dundee United turned down £400k before he went to Palace.
The alternative and not too surprising could be they resign him and we get him back on loan next year

 

Its frequently 50-50. Especially if he’s on damn good money at Palace. He won’t be cheap to become ours for sure. He will be surplus to requirements at Palace but they will want some of their £500,000 “ investment back!

 

I bet much doubt we're paying his full wages but I'm happy to be corrected if anyone knows?

 

Apparently not, according to someone Mr Sparks has made some astute deals on the wages front

 

If we are looking for a goalscorer,there is a guy at Gainsborough called Donaldson who has scored 24 goals so far this season,local lad as well.

 

If Tyreik Wright becomes available at Plymouth I would go for him
