Possibly a bit of mind games. We don't know what kind of negotiations are going on behind the scenes and to be honest, that's how it should be.

 

I suspect MH is as frustrated as the fans at the moment. Sounds like we are relying on loans to strengthen. He obviously has his targets but having to play the waiting game, probably right up to the end of the window, to see whether parent clubs will release them and whether to us in league 2

 

I don’t rule anything out until the door slams shut. Let’s see BB. Dampening expectations oddly keeps interest alive as well?

There are still a number of decent free agents about but I feel like the ship has gone for permanent signings. Let's just hope the loans are decent as the current loanee looks poor

3 year deal incoming. Will come on as a sub for a couple of games and then be sent to Scunny on loan in January and never be seen in a city shirt again. You heard it here first
