The club is predominantly self funding through commercial activity, ticket sales and EFL contributions and not making losses without owner input beyond his initial investment. Why is this a shock Captain. ? It isn’t to me. It’s the proper way to run a club without a sugar daddy owner or country in the background writing blank cheques.

Now I know WW doesn’t have much skin in the game now I think since Rupp came onboard (or maybe never had? stand to be corrected on that point) but it still worries we have these self appointed directors (believe they pay a fee) and in someways it’s only natural that via their dealings with the club they will impart their opinion on football matters (we all would).

All I would say is we have enough people at that club without football acumen.
