Youngs season long loan to Swindon has been confirmed. Their local press are saying Swindon are struggling for depth and fitness at the minute, can imagine he gets in matchday squads until everyone is fit. Fingers crossed he takes his chance.

 

I disagree Dennis. For me it's quite simple, we currently have a very good first choice centre forward whereas we don't even have a first choice left wing back. Never mind a very good one.

Let's sort the first 11 first and then we can worry about who's replacing them in case of injury or rests.

 

And that's the absolute maximum we can hope for with Gillead at left wing back.

Gillead will let no one down he never does. But yes we need a left wing back so that he can go back to competing for defensive midfield

 

I think wingbacks and three at the back will be scrapped early on, possibly after Colchester home, more likely after Stockport away. We simply don’t have the players to play it. Slow centre backs, no obvious wing back on the left side. Hope it comes off but just seems to be more in hope than expectation.

 

Should imagine City can initiate a recall for Young in January. You never know what could happen between now and then to make it possible, one of them being him scoring a few, with the other reasons; well, I'll leave them up for your speculation .

Young leaving gives us 1 slot for an Over 21 to sign. Without finding the post, we had 22 players who would need registering when however checked last week.

 

It wasn't that long ago that Doyle went to Swindon on loan and finished leagues top scorer, despite not been able to hit a barn door for us lol

 

Also the players seem confused on who is marking who when the opposition is on the attack but I will give it time to bed in.

 

Folk on FB saying that Young has been frozen out due to being involved with Harrett. Was he out hunting bunnies with him?

 

Win win situation for us the Young deal. If he bangs loads he’s a young player of a long term contract so we can make a pretty penny, also if he does well and we don’t go up Hughes would likely be gone next season so we’d have a ready made league 2 player.

If he does crap then at least we’ve got him off the books for a year.
