That begs the question if there are league 1 clubs interested in him and willing to give him regular starts, why haven't they come in for him sooner? Obviously we don't know what's going on behind the scenes, but if there has been interest from higher leagues and that's where Luton want him to be, you'd have thought something would have been sorted out already.

 

If they were then he would've gone by now surely? It's pretty obvious he isn't in Luton's plans and has been since the opening day.

 

Let's hope you're right. Mark Hughes doesn't think so, according to the T&A article.

 

Maybe going mad, but I am sure I read a short online article (not sure where now) published earlier this week saying that Luton had let L1 clubs know he was available for loan, but there had been no takers at that time!

 

Rumours around here that Cambridge are interested. They play wingers and their boss and Jones know each other.

Probably means he'll go to Ipswich or summat...

Personally i think him and banks as forwards/wings would be nasty for L2 defenders

 

With the end of the window fast approaching, let's have a bit of Bank Holiday fun and speculate about what we think is going to happen between now and Thursday. I reckon 2 in and 1 out. I think the chances of Dion being one of the ones to come in is quite high, and I think the one out could end up being quite a shock.

 

A few of the City players were boozing in the Marina after the Pools game and Danny Graham - ex Sunderland and Blackburn striker and now an agent was there. Wonder if any more of the Teesside crew might arrive if any are his clients?!

 

Could the shock exit be Cook, it would have to be a good offer IMO, I don't dismiss the resent posts saying Oliver could have been our main striker unfortunatly with Cooks scoring record Hughes would find it hard to leave him out, what bit we've seen of Oliver he has hardly pulled up any trees, but I'd never say never with regards footballing decisions.

Crewes keeper on loan from Arsenal was very commanding in his box being 6'6 helps, unfortunatly if the balls in weren't bang on he'd just leave his line and gobble them up.

 

You obviously saw more in the lad than I did with the service he got, he should be quicker than Cook maybe Tuesday night Hughes should play him as our lone striker against Wednesday.

My forecast which I posted a couple of weeks ago is Pereira in on loan despite what Hughes says about it being unlikely,and Songo’o going to Morecambe. If we get rid of Cook that could really haunt us in the same way when we let Doyle go to Swindon who then couldn’t stop scoring.

Clear from Jones that Pereira is not in his plans and available for loan. He also mentions league two so maybe they're open to him coming back to this level now?
