    Why would Paudie or anybody else choose to join Lincoln instead of staying with us? According to Ryan, we've offered him at least as much as Lincoln have done.

    Oh yes, Lincoln are in Div 1 and we're not! Good luck to him.

    He's no loss. Credit to him on his move.

    We need a new captain and better leader anyway. Damn City's marketing building up to deadline will take a hit losing the player of the season and captain.

    What's all this ' look after him' from city fans in the tweet comments? I wish him all the best but as of now he's nothing to do with us and as such is no concern of mine anymore. Some of our fans are proper fannies.

    They obviously knew it was happening. I think a replacement will be announced shortly. Lift the mood.....announcing a new player then a departure would take the shine off it.

    The way Lincoln were going last season it might be a case of clubs swapping places, but fair do's if he got better money thats what its mostly about with professional sports people.

    Lincoln have brought forward the announcement of O’Connor - it was set to be announced for tomorrow.

    With this in mind, there could be a signing announced this evening, but realistically, it’s looking more like tomorrow.

    Normally the selling club reports the sale first to give time for the club to get it out of the way and spin BS to fans.

    Seems like we have allowed Lincoln to announce, so must be confident we have a replacement lined up.
