Surely getting a 2 and half year contract shows that he actually impressed the Crawley boss. The reason he’s been released is unknown but it’s worth noting that the family had a pretty torrid time with covid with their uncle actually passing away from it. Seems that it had a pretty devastating affect on the family.
People need to get over Josh Wright and the tracking back at the Barnsley game.

A look at the teams in the National League is frightening

 

He seemed to do quite well at Gillingham and Leyton Orient but his contract has either been terminated by mutual consent or he's been released early from his contract everywhere he's been

Looks like he can't handle it when the competition for places is high but is capable of doing all right when he's playing 90 minutes week in week out but at 31 this is probably last chance saloon maybe he'll get one more league club then it will be non league or retirement and probably an appearance on some lame tv show

 

I wanted to see quality players brought in through the summer but I also knew it wasn't going to happen because of the lack of finances coming into the club over the past 2 years due to covid. I think Adams has done well to get the players he has got into the club and compare those to other league 2 clubs who have had to bring in released kids from championship clubs.Scunthorpe for instance have a near squad of under 23's and barrow have brought in similar to them plus a lot of clubs have had to bring in players from the national league and young kids on loan. I think supporters need to be realistic and see this and probably a couple more seasons before finances get back to where they were.

 

As fans we don't always want to hear about that side of the business, I've listened to many of Adams recent interviews and I don't get the impression he's unhappy with his squad.
Let's hope 3 points today gets some of the doubters back onboard, it's hardly been a poor start to the season.

They still need a wage, high ones probably, hence why they are out of contract?
