Back to City,and Adams has stated that he has been looking to strengthen central midfield all summer but not close yet to a signing and won't sign anyone just for the sake of it.

Let's hope he manages to bring one in soon, notwithstanding the injuries to Songo'o and Sutton, its definitely an area that needs an other decent option.

What @Sergio Pinto III is desperately trying to cover up is that the original debate wasn't about Lingard being "shite" it was about Jarrod Bowen being a far better choice than Lingard.

Lingard then going to West Ham and for a short time relegating Bowen to the bench even made Sergio stop replying to the thread and went into hiding.

 

I may be reading far too much into this but Katie Whyatt, City supporting sports journo has tweeted a pic of the pitch this morning saying how lush it looked and saying that she has been there this morning for a matter that will become clear in due course. Someone tweeted her back asking if she is going to be playing as a midfield enforcer tomorrow and she replied 'not far off '
Could it be that we've signed someone ahead of tomorrow's game, or am I putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with 5?

No one knows that for sure. How long was it before other of this seasons intake were signed BEFORE it was announced. Remember the vids are done 2 or three days in advance and so on.

If it’s a big tent it may be announced pre kick off perhaps in the T&A and intro at the game
