We were in for him. Not BS at all. I know for a fact, just like I knew he was Wrexham bound (and posted so) this lunchtime!

It's a sign of the times that Mullin goes to Wrexham. Number one, there is no wage cap in the National leagues. So number two, if you have mega rich Hollywood owners you're going to be the team who hoover up the best of the best from Lgs 1 and 2. Parky must be like a kid in a toy shop. And I don't begrudge him that all. He was fabulous for us.

Wrexham aren't spending crazy amounts, a lot is money already generated via high quality sponsorship and media interest. The owners have already said that the paln is for sustainability.

Totally get your point. However, they're still going to be able to spend a shed load more money than most if not all National League sides. And well done Wrexham. Wish we were that lucky!

TBH as an ex journo, I feel for the slagging Mr Parker gets. Being the reporter who is the sole journo to cover a club puts you in a damned if you do, damned if you don't position. You have to keep good and decent lines of communication going with the club and all involved staff wise. But you also need to be fair, critical and ready to pursue decisions made by the club that need investigating and/or uncovering. Believe me, it's a tough balance. I'd give kudos to Simon Parker. He doesn't always get the balance right, but often, he does.
