Yeh fair point. Foulds might even be our first choice LB for all we know. I suppose no time like the present to see what Staunton can do as he can operate CB/LB.

Could well be Foulds and Staunton fighting for that place.

 

Not sure about another centre half but the full backs and midfielders need to be quality to get that squad into the automatic promotion spots.

Hopefully better quality than the two through the door so far.

 

Personally think the quality so far has been good for what we can hope, mid table league 2 side that have regressed for the last 4 seasons and are cutting the player budget. I’d you’re hoping for better then there’s probably going to be disappointment. Eisa and Cook will both be starters and are as good as we’re going to get in my opinion.

 

Some great news ,Kelvin Mellor has signed a new deal at Morecambe so won't be coming back.

 

Good reply, similar to my thinking. But to push for automatic promotion, more signings will be needed. The two incomings will undoubtedly be part of the squad next season. No way I or anybody can draw conclusions on next season at this stage.
