Summer 2021 Transfers

Way I see it the club promoted a busy week. 3 new deals for our out of contract players and 2 new deals for youth so far. I can only assume they are also talking/negotiating with potential new signings.

The club made zero promises on new players this week. Fans have read between the lines and assumed that.

Rest assured, there will be incomings whether its this week, next week or the week after. I dont understand the impatience? We are in mid June.

Maybe the fans need to wind their neck in?

 

I work for BT and you could use the phones in the telephone exchanges to dial any premium number or anywhere in the world without it registering.
My mate ran a very successful model car business selling to people all over the world while I rang the city “information “ line.
Spent many a rainy day in exchanges doing “clerical” work.
If not near an exchange you could use a line in one of the green street cabinets.

Stop starting rumours and creating hype about players that are unachievable and that we'll never sign!

All you're doing is creating expectations that will never be met and getting others into a frenzy about possible signings and then you'll claim the club hasn't dampened the rumours or actually started some of them!!!

Abos brother is the Posh striker Mo. The one who banged in loads for Cheltenham a few years.

Posh have made him available. What a signing he could be. Most probably L1 bound though and out of our reach unless a loan.

 

Jon, aren’t many on this forum ACTING LIKE OVER EXCITED TEENAGERS as you put it, for believing 90% of the rumour crap too.

Sparks is “marketing the club” , it’s his job amongst many. Let him get on with it. The principle of the policy is get people “talking” , “interested” and perhaps ”curious”.

Whilst Sparks creates the “talking points” with one sentence ditties, this forum and many other social media streams fill in the imaginary dots with rumour and silly speculation.

I’ll talk about it, read it, and likely debate such all day long, however I take it with a massive dose of salt . Sparks, like it or not, is succeeding in his objective with the tacit help of social media.
