Definitely gone for experience this afternoon!! Might just be the right move in what is bound to be a testing match, but if Smallwood bombs today Hughes will rightly have some questions to answer

 

Disappointed the lad East has not kept his place apart from being our captain I dont think Smallwood offers enough to walk straight back into the starting 11 unfortunately Hughes was never going to go with the kid.

The Bradford End was always the place to be as a young un and up to the late 70s, then the paddock up against the wall in front of the tea kiosk and gents toilets, some cracking banter with opposition players.

Agreed. Must be soul destroying for the lad. I no longer pay attention to the bull Hughes gives post match and in his interviews with SP. Also, two matches in and Bola is already injured.

Well if you have watched Smallwood this season he has been slow on the ball and other all poor.

If you didn’t see last week our midfield worked the best all season and that’s without Smallwood.

 

I'll give Hughes the benefit of the doubt going with experience picking this starting 11, listening to his recent interview he knew Ridehalgh was waiting in the wings for a game so maybe not as big a risk as we think but even though Ridehalgh played in a midweek friendly last week is he fit to to for the full 90 minutes plus, we'll know more at 5pm.
