We needed a nasty little bastard so badly. Early signs with AC are promising!

A player in his natural role.
Going to be key during the run in.

    Agreed.
We looked to keep it tight 1st half.
The goal went against the plan.
Remember Stevenage blew Orient away scoring 3 1st half goals so Hughes will have known their capabilities.
Set us up nicely for the second half.

That is not 100-150 cm over the line-150cm is 5ft -no way would a 5 ft person laid down with their feet on the touchline not have their head in the netting.

People saying Cook only had one bad game before he was dropped are misremembering... in the 13 games before he was dropped he only got 4 goals. 1 of those was a penatly and 2 were in one game, meaning of the 13 games before he was dropped he failed to score in open play in 11 of them. We all remember him being run into the ground last year and becoming completely ineffective and he was starting to look the same way... for me completely right decision to rest him and the right decision to now bring him back - though I did say to may mate after the Mansfield game it's funny because him coming back and scoring will make those who wanted to play all along say he should never have been dropped at all and those agreeing with him being rested will show how he's come back fresher so you'll never win!

was he missing chances though ???
You could have put any of the other forwards up to top and they would have failed to score ............... Cook in all fairness has done really well to get the goals he has in a team that actually creates little ...........him being dropped for a few games over Xmas may be a big blessing because if he does have another decent spell then who knows where it will lead

He wasn't doing anything at all, it was like playing with 10 men... though that was mainly due to the system and him having to fight 2 brutish CBs each week with no joy, but it was clearly taking a physical toll on him, he looked nowhere near as sharp as he did at the beginning of the season by the time he was taken out of the firing line

It was. No question…I pointed it out yesterday . Raynor also got booked at VP if my brain is working.

The sweaty one spent most of the game sat in the corner of the box.

Are the club going to complain about the disgraceful antics of the statuesque “ ground staff” preventing our keepers warming up?

That is Raynor and Evans in a nutshell.

I always found Raynor to be a much viler character than Evans. Absolutely horrible excuse for a man, nasty bastard

Raynor was Evans' assistant at Boston round about 2006/2007 when Evans was convicted of tax fraud. He has been his right hand man ever since at Crawley, Rotherham, Leeds, Gillingham, etc. They are both from the same obnoxious mould. Where Evans goes, Raynor follows!

    He’s always been his mouthpiece.
His default position of arms spread wide whenever a decision apparently goes against them is quite tedious now.
