Fair comments from Evans, I don't think any manager would say much different. He did give us credit - but perhaps plays the 'little Stevenage' card a bit too much.

He’s right though, Platt does look to be a player we should be trying to improve on. Both short and long term.

Don’t think you can argue with that but Rochdale apart since the Harrogate match when we changed tactics a bit results wise the tide has turned a bit so whilst i agree some criticism is due which is never short in being offered credit should follow when we get it right and 4 points from Stockport and Stevenage away is getting it right

And I worry about one or two on here, I don't think in all my time on the official City forum, Claret & Banter and Bantam Talk I've ever read any fan wanting an opposition player to get his leg snapped in half and they would dance a jig.
And what's that "homely they will spend another term in league two" what a sad soul.

 

Noticeably they failed to mention how shite they were at defending today which was clearly the refs fault.

 

Harsh on Platt from you both, who is a decent player doing a decent job. He does his job and does it well in my view.

Thought Evans was a bit harsh blaming one player for all 3 goals. He gave the penalty away fair enough, but he lost a header (happens), and for Walker's goal the ball was ricocheting around a bit. Calling it "3 mistakes" is a bit off.

He also thinks Stubbs should have been sent off, but at the time I thought the ball skipped up off the turf and it was unlucky for it to hit his arm, but I can see why the ref gave the free kick, but not enough in it to be a red card for me.

 

I thought the same when I listened to the clip earlier. If I was there player who was hung out to dry (Adams style) I would be livid.

That’s life down there for a lot of the natives. Shame the decent folks living down there have to put up with them.

We were weak in several areas, and imagine we will switch back to Bola and Crich ASAP.
