I remember one game, Shrewsbury Town at home and we really got to their left winger. He was really biting back and we were laughing at him.
Then he stuck one in at the kop end - boy did we scarper before he could run back to us to give us some!!

Problem is corners we have this crap zonal marking where our four tallest player stand on the six yard line and that's clearly easy to practice against in training and useless in a match against out swinging corners and big players with a running start to head a ball.

 

Zero shots on target, again. How many times has that been the case after 45 mins this season? Unacceptable

Game as gone as I expected TBH. Stevenage don’t give us a second and are very well drilled - far from pretty, but effective.

I don’t think we’ve been as bad as some are saying. Their chances have been limited and on a plus side Stubbs and Clayton are look positive additions.

We’re sadly lacking going forward. Passing has been sloppy, a result of how effective Stevenage press is.

Need much, much more from Smallwood and Walker - both have been very disappointing. Darbyshire and Cook together is confusing, surely Oliver would have been a better option than Darbyshire (who has been anonymous) to offer an outlet to hold the ball and allow us to move forward quicker?

Greenshoot is we finished the half better. Get at them straight from the start of the second half and we might be able to get back into this.
