No, let a new manager come in assess the squad until, the close then disband it at the end of the season. It’s gone completely stale , let’s be honest?

 

I said that Evans would be one of the top candidates for the managers job if we sacked Adams. Too many people had unrealistic expectations of who was going to take over, everyone wanted him gone but no one had a realistic plan for what came next. If the names linked in the betting odds are anything to go by we are now left choosing between Evans, Fowler and Woodgate. I can only hope that Sparks had a plan.

Guys an absolute tool, but the more I think about it, I’d take him tomorrow. Will bring in an “us against the world” mentality in the players that we need, get the players fighting for the club (literally?) on the pitch and hopefully results with it. I don’t see any other better candidates at this level at this moment in time. Don’t see McCann dropping to L2, and Woodgate/Fowler are untested.

 

I was on hospitality at Boundary Park today and Evans was there, sat not too far away from me.

It was clear to see how pained he was by our inept performance, he obviously loves the club and I could see a special bond being formed in no time between manager, player and true City fans if he were to get the job.

No matter who takes charge it's going to be a marmite appointment from now till the end of the season.
Buying a season ticket to watch my club has been the norm for years so regardless of the name on the office door I don't expect a manergerial trophy heavyweight to rack up and propel us into Europe.
