    Thought I'd mention my local team, as the sleeping giant of non-league football is finally stirring again.

    Stafford Rangers, backed by their new American owners, as well as investing millions in ground improvements, have been signing new players (13 so far) in preparation for the forthcoming season.

    The latest signing is set piece / very long throw specialist Tom Tonks from Tamworth. If you don't remember him, well Huddersfield fans certainly do (see 43 seconds into this clip).
