First real test for me with the script. Highlighted Grimoldo as a great choice for the Shots on Target mission who wasn't someone I would have considered for that one otherwise.

Oh and I've added it to the nav bar under the label scouting

 

I had been wondering why there had been no transfers after about Feb 2nd despite some leagues having transfer windows open such as Japan, Korea, the US and South America. New cards that any of us bought, won or crafted were being added so it seemed like it was working correctly but apparently it wasn't.

One of the database tables was rejecting updates on certain fields but silently so I didn't know it wasn't updating while other fields did update so it seemed to me it was working.

I only realised it wasn't working as on the squad page I added a tick box to only show u23 eligible players and in-season cards plus a drop down to select which competition you wanted to see players from and the data for these just wouldn't update.

Anyway it's fixed. You should see loads more transfers for your cards (although transfer type logic seems to now be broken) while also having those filters on squad (and I'll most likely ad those filters on other pages too)

 

Added Start prediction onto the scout page

 

I apparently entered too many Arenas so even after winning 2300 essence I'm an extra 300 essence away from being able to craft than I was last week lol.

It was just too tempting to keep putting my strong MLS. Cards from last seasons in-season into MLS arenas

 

Made some more changes. I'm feeding multiple predicted score and starting predictions into it now. Depending on the league anywhere from 2 to 5 sources. As the starting percentages were getting a little weird due to this I've moved to a grading system for starting. They key for both that and the highlighting colours are at the top but here is the grading breakdown

 

I'm actually trying to see if I can get a lineup builder working but its having a few issues. This is the problem with messing around and seeing what i canb create that I would find helpful rather than developing with a plan as the database is overly complex which then causes issues the more complex it gets

 

Juts a reminder with the MLS in a few minutes MLS Season pass is now included as a part of the AppleTV subscription (AppleTV was already good value, might not have the most content but pretty much everything on there is high quality but now with MLS season pass include its even better value)

 

My Scouting/Mission page came in clutch. First time ever I've hit all 3 when there was a bonus for doing so. On the RB Leipzig/Dortmund foul one I got 50 essence each fro the 3 and a 350 bonus for getting all 3

 

If you have any players in Liga MX you might want to leave them out of lineups for the time being (or just stick them all in a lineup together) as with what's going on there has to be a doubt if they will play. At one game this weekend all the players and staff ran off the pitch mid game when explosions and gunfire started.

Mind you there's a ATP Tennis event in Acapulco this week which they are refusing to cancel even though its in an area where most countries Foreign Offices are suggesting their residents don't leave where they are staying and supposedly many of the players are worried so if they aren't willing to cancel things for Tennis players who are visiting for week they probably won't for footballers living there

 

I went in hard on MLS Arenas and failed on every single one. Was the wrong GW to do that in hindsight seeing as MLS form can turn around so much between seasons so you don't know where anyone really stands. In the end I just about managed to salvage the week even though I spent 1500 essence on MLS arenas and another 1000 on other Arenas

 

I've made more Improvements to the scout page BTW. They keep adding new quest types that I didn't have stats for and then they have ones for certain positions or certain leagues so we have more mission types to choose from, you can choose what competition you want to see from and also filter them by starting likelihood

 

Wow my crafts were epically bad



Bets of a bad bunch with this one. But here is where it gets really bad. I used the best tier and got a 5 star as my highest tier. Now admittedly its partly my fault as I forgot 5 star is just T1 but I used the rest of my clues on it

I got 4 from Bundeslga and 1 from Bundesliga 2. I should have gone for the B2 tbh as T1 was the only card I could get and it was Fraiser Hornsby which is a great card but I already own him. Thinking 5 equalled star I thought the best card could only be a German in the Bundesliga or the French guy in the Bundesliga and there was 1 Frenchman and 10 Germans

As it turns out 5 = T1 the cards I thought I was going for weren't on the table and my draw was




I can't but a Bundesliga team out anyway but a good German in the Bundesliga might have stood a good chance of being at the World Cup that would have helped. Even Coufal stood a chance if Czechia can get through the playoffs but the one I got is pretty much useless

 

Yeah that 49 kills your chance of 1st, TBH the 60s probably do as well as seems you need to average around around 75-80 before bonuses for first in s07. You should still get a decent reward though

 

Just got my 3rd competition of a mission so got the bonus for the 3rd time since I did it for the first time on Saturday so my tool is certainly paying dividends for the time I spent coding it

 

You quickly realise how much of Sorare's interface is so badly done. It would be so easy on the missions page for them to provide relevant stats for the mission (also actually showing you which team a card belongs to as transfers can make that hard on the missions interface) but for some reason its fine if its a decisive only one as they give you that but anything else you need about 5 clicks back and forth to get
