    I am still wondering if this whole story about Solar Panels is fake news. I can remember a ‘debate’ with @wetherbywhaler@wetherbywhaler who was totally clear that it was not possible to attach Solar Panels to the Valley Parade Stadium. ‘Equally to put solar panels has been looked at but is not viable, roof loadings and pay back periods which run beyond the remainder of the lease make it a non-runner’. Given the very firm view expressed it surely has to be Fake?

    It can't be fake. The club themselves confirmed in the latest newsletter that they were currently being installed. Plus, who would go the the trouble of posting 'fake' planning notices up around VP?
    I know we get fake news on possible signings but this seems at little OTT for solar panels.
    As others have mentioned. Technology moves on and maybe solar panels are much lighter?

    Quite right Rod but since then significant changes in manufacturing and weights make these things viable. I have not been involved but have seen the drawings, one section on Dallas and one on Midland Road.

    Well its pretty clear were stopping at VP for the foreseeable , Wont this affect the negotiations unless a deal is done to buy back VP

    They are been installed on the underside of the roof so they avoid the weather and last longer
