That's fine. Hope he does. But he doesn't fit into a diamond which GB played yesterday.

 

Whilst that is from BCFC Official Social Media pages, it is not how they lined up...Anderson on the right and Gibson on the left. Donaldson started on the right of the front two but then moved over more to the left during the later stages of the first half. The movement of Donaldson and Vaughan was impressive and caused their defenders some problems. Doyle worked his nads off to be honest and put himself about breaking up their midfield and defenders passing.

I know some people are questioning our number of goals from open play (on another thread I know) but to me the fact that we are winning a large amount of penalties means that we are causing opposition teams problems inside the box and they are not able to cope with the movement inside the box.

Gibson looked decent going forward again. Think he may have finally grasped what he needs to do as a pro...

Think we still maybe need something else in midfield.

You said he doesn’t suit playing outside the box and needs to be on the end of deliveries into the penalty area. You said he’s a penalty spot player.

Playing outside, behind the front two, he isn’t playing the role you said he needed to play.

The point is Simon Parker in his match report said he played off the two not behind

 

He played behind them mate....!

 

Mainly he did play behind them but advanced ahead of them when one won a flick on from a long ball.
