Sod what the team does on the pitch its all about super training facilities ............honestly right now i would give up our league place for a lovely training pitch like Tranmere.
Gutted to see him go based on LAST year but hes been here how many seasons and produced one out of 3 on his wages ..............and folk saying he was good enough for league 1 why oh why wasnt there a cluster of clubs after him ?????
Did they not want to be lumbered with someone on high wages who MAY do well and whose set pieces on the whole are tripe.

Btw on our training set up didnt get in the way of him signing a 3 year contract did it ??????

Its not. I know for a fact they had the minibus. Not sure if it was just on matchdays or for training. Spoken to the players at Player of Year awards. They had it for a while, maybe that season, then GA stopped it.

I think we are still well behind the curve in terms of goals scored from set pieces.

 

They aren’t , just look on Google earth at the two sites , one doesn’t need to be an estate agent to see the stark difference . It just unnecessary nonsense hiding the fact nobody offered him that two year deal he wanted (“ It’s been a slow summer” ) and on face value he’s had to take an offer miles away from his base for half the period he wanted ?
