You've got to laugh really. Despite the mountain of evidence against Rahic and the fact Dowie stated he knows from Grayson, of interference by Edin, folk on Twitter still won't believe a word and apparently Dowie knows nothing. This blind ignorance from some city fans is staggering.

 

They won't want their p45 for speaking negatively of Edin.

Although I think you're completely wrong on this I do think this place is much more interesting with your contributions. An echo chamber is not conducive to debate after all.

 

Plenty of Chairman have interfered in the past and will do so in the future. Occasionally, but admittedly rarely, it does some good. One thing is for certain is that none of the traditional old school managers you mentioned like it. So it's a bit like asking a turkey if it likes Xmas - hence a non story

A really 'sit up and take notice' angle on this would be if the likes of Vincent Tan and McAnthony, thought Rahic was out of order, i.e. those who have often found it hard not to be the centre of the club and have occasionally 'interfered'

Richmond did it with us - we only moaned when it went pear shaped after the Jewell fall out

Incidentally, it's just as much 'interfering' when Chairmen moan in public about how poor the team has been etc as it is when they suggest a players should be chosen or one can be just as bad as the other depending on the context

None of what I've written means to say that I'm ignorant of the failings of Edin including any interference - I'm just amazed it's seen as such an outrage

 

The general impression is that Rahic has his finger prints all over the club, he appears to want to do it all himself.

IF he was the genius he thinks he is we would be top of the league and no one would give a stuff about his interference (or not). There's only outrage because he knows naff all about running a football club and has made a monumental balls up of almost everything he's touched.

Exactly. Everyone can now clearly see what the players and managers have to deal with in Edin, it's so unacceptable it defies belief.

For the good of the club, Edin will soon be gone and we can get back to normal with football men leading the football club - as it should have been all along.

There's still a small (minded) amount of fans who are on social media either calling it all bollocks or saying there's an unfair witching.

I very much doubt Edin would have me working for him, he likes his own way and doesnt like his employees questioning him.

‘Interference from the chairman’ isn’t really the outrage. The outrage is that a chairman has continually interfered, overrrulling more qualified judges of footballing matters, to the deteriment of the team, club and fans. And then proceeded to abdicate his accountability by directly and indirectly blaming just about everybody else but himself for the failings of the club.

The sooner he’s gone, the better. He’s been nothing but bad for this football club.

Prior to Hopkin arriving, we had zero leaders.

It's a well known fact that Rahic has been heavily involved in footballing matters and as his interference has played a major role in our decline, his involvement is rightly being heavily scrutinised. It's not the interference in isolation that is the problem but more where it has got us.
