I didn’t mention anything about kids, I said the only available seats for 4 or more people sitting together are high up in the gods (awful view) and completely disengaged from the action.

Absolute none issue mate. There are tons of seats available for Saturday, loads of groups of 4, and we are two days before the game.

Genuine question, how many people do you think are 'buying a ST because they are cheap with the intention of hoarding the seat for the 6 games they attend'?

I don’t do Tuesday games, my wife and I share a car and she is a nurse working shifts so I’m happy for them to reuse my ticket no problem think it’s a good idea, lots of people can’t attend midweek games due to work or CBA good move

I think there’s more than you think. As has been mentioned on here, it’s not just a seat, it’s to be around family / friends and fellow fans they’ve met over the years and the thought of giving up that seat is not something they’ll consider lightly.
So they’ll continue to renew because it’s cheap so they can use it when needed even if that means it’s empty for many games.
All the club are trying to do is free up those seats for resale when not used. Nothing sinister

I cannot count the hours of sleep I have lost over this exact issue. What a joke of a club we are. Unable to fill our stadium on a Tuesday night. Amateur at best.

Now you are complaining about the size of the main stand upper. What would be your solution to that?

If a football stadium being less full makes you embarrassed you should be embarrassed that you’re embarrassed about being embarrassed

No i mentioned the kids as you mentioned a family of four, that usually consists of kids. As i also mentioned there are plenty of opportunities to sit 4 aside in every stand in the ground on Saturday, your point about 4 people being able to sit together has been answered, they can sit in any stand they want.

Yes they have. But the increase in revenue will be piddling. 25 yearers (like me) have been paying £50pa less than normal prices for years. There are only a few hundred of us left, I believe. So the extra revenue is not going to pay for that 25 goal striker we all crave so badly.

Any 25 yearer who currently sits in a suite will face a huge price hike up from £180 to nearly £600

True. But I bet the vast majority of 25 yearers stopped using the suites since they made it an expensive add-on instead of a free sweetener to compensate for having to pay yearly for something we’d already paid for.
I stopped using the main stand suite even before they decided to charge me extra for it. Crap overpriced beer in a soulless aircraft hanger didn’t appeal to me; and it’s too much of a hike from the lower tier to bother with at HT. I’d much rather go to the pub before a game or just go straight to the ground near KO time.

If I have ticked automatic renewal do I definitely not have to do anything else ?

Last year was the first time I’ve paid by Direct Debit. Just received an email from the club telling me that my ST, in my usual seat, has renewed automatically. Stupidly, I hadn’t realise this would happen. Not surprising they’ve beaten their previous first day sales record as more and more people now use the DD scheme and renew automatically on the first day. TBH I’m surprised the figure isn’t higher than 5046 with auto renewals.
