    I'll give you a clue.

You didn't need to use the plural.

I am assuming (dangerous, I know) that we only need to know how many matches we need to "attend" (either in person or by releasing our seat back to the Club), in 26/27, before the start of the season and that the impact of not "attending" enough would only affect 27/28 onwards.

True enough. I'm just asking for some communication I think rather than implementing an idea that affects your season ticket after they've already been put on sale and potentially bought.

It feels an easy fix for the club, just a statement or further information by way of a generic email to all ST holders would probably do it.

It will be 20 years in 2027 mate it was the first season Stuart came back and I started taking Ethan, Julian made an offer that if we guaranteed a certain number of season ticket sales he'd reduce the price, I think if we take the recent increase into ticket price into perspective we don't do bad, the luxury of having a descent sized ground that holds 24,000+.

I think you’re jumping the gun a bit. The club haven’t said anything about losing season tickets for non attendance have they?
They are simply offering an option on selected high profile fixtures where someone who can’t attend can release their seats so someone else can buy it, thus ensuring maximum attendance, no empty seats and a better atmosphere.

If I'm feeling flush it's Murgatroyds otherwise the two in Queensbury Village or the one going toward Haworth, I think it's the Crossroads or summat like that.
Waiting for the usual DM telling me this has been moved to the fish and chips thread or summat.

I think the information this time round has been badly handled with things coming from the supporters board meeting and then the official ticket announcement and people putting them together. The club need to come and clarify what the plan is and make it crystal clear and in future not discuss things to do with ticketing with the supporters board just before any official announcement

If they are not selling back what benefit will there be to take part in the ticket return scheme that they tal about on the website for selected games next year?

"Further discussion addressed the possibility of reintroducing a ticket return or buy-back system. Ryan confirmed that Ticketmaster does support this functionality and that the club is exploring how such a system could work fairly. If introduced, returning a ticket would count as having “attended” for any attendance-threshold rules that may be considered in future "

That bottom part reads to me similar to what I mentioned earlier.

Both Manchester clubs have a threshold and I know for next season it’s gone up for United.
You’ve got to go to 17/19 home games (you can forward to a member and that goes for you as attended)
City however don’t have that forwarding luxury.
