People are kicking off over an extra fiver for having it delivered

 

Is it just me slightly irked by the 'Promotion' to buy a ST by Easter Monday and be entered into a competition, to have your money back.

The squad is bang average and we give money away! Surely as a fan you wouldn't take from the limited coffers available?

 

No option to pay via crypto? Disappointing and shows the club really need to modernize

 

It IS going to be much better than competitive, he actually said "extremely competitive" .

 

If I won a free seadon ticket I'd gladly accept it.

Spent loads of wedge on city over the past 30 years .

 

So we used to get a little booklet, with match tickets, then a little plastic ticket for the season, now its an e- ticket, unless you pay the extra £5 plus the delivery charge. No cash at the refreshment bars. What's next , a bar code on your forehead.
I really dislike the modern world of machines doing a person's job.
Call me an old fuddy duddy, but i will pay the extra, i always have my card in my wallet, but quite often leave my phone at home.

Once Ryan took over as CEO I posted on here I liked what he was saying but believed much more would be asked of fans, not just increases in season ticket prices never been charged £5 to attend a fans forum, as yourself Andy I'll pay the required cost to get my ticket.

Seems strange that people are constantly moaning about our budget and wasting money on none important things such as rebranding etc and then some of those people now complain about the extra charge for the cards. Surely spending a couple of quid a time, maybe even £5, for 12,000 tickets when there is a cheaper alternative available is madness

 

I have never moaned about the budget and always put more into the club than just my season ticket money.
Its about personal choice and i just don't like or trust the instant electronic world we live in. It has its uses, but also has its problems, hacking , scams , internet warriors, cyber bullying, fraud. Yes i like to read this website and contribute, but i could quite easily stay away.

 

It took me a good few attempts to remember my password (why do some people - not just City - still not incorporate face ID into apps these days?) but eventually I renewed my ST. If everyone else wouldn't mind waiting until Tuesday to renew their tickets so I've got a better chance of getting my money back, that'd be grand, thanks.

 

People moaning about an extra £5 ,probably pay 4.60 for a bottle of weak lager before the game .

 

Haven't scoured the T&C's but pretty sure you'll be able to just print out the QR code on a piece of paper and stick that in your wallet. Laminate it too if you're feeling fancy

So far I’ve had three emails about renewing in the past 26 hours

 

So instead of pointing our physical ST in the general direction of a steward with a card reader that does not work, we will be waving our mobile with app in said direction?

 

I don't mind paying the extra £5 for an actual card. What does irk me in this day and age is organisations expecting everyone to have a smartphone to download things like covid passports and now season tickets.

My poor old dad is still coming to terms navigating texts on his Nokia for example. He hasn't a clue what a QR code is!
