At least we dont have to dust down the #At Least We're Not Bury# hashtag every time,
Can now add #At Least We're Not Oldham# for a bit of variety
My how that team has fallen

If they are non-binary they wouldn't use "he" pronouns.

The passing backwards when there’s an opportunity to drive forward is the frustrating bit for me. I like that we try to keep possession but that was a throwback to Adams in parts. Roll on next season when hopefully we are entertained by players who are confident on the ball and not looking for the easy, pass back or sideways option.

It irritates the hell out of me too Inspector. There are times when it is necessary but on the whole it happens far too much - didn't it cost us a stupid goal today?
I noticed also today when Songo'o got the ball in the first half, near the half-way line. There was nobody near him, he had plenty of space and time to move forward but no.....he stopped, looked around and played a simple pass sideways. The ball ended up in our own penalty area.
    Does my head in!

We're not far off saying we ARE Oldham lol, I'll be happy to say at least we're not when I know we're not a season away from catastrophe with our blind leading the blind ownership

Well to summarise the game in a sentence

Scunthorpe scored, Before they had a shot.

Can’t wait for this season to finish

I thought we played to many attacking players who ended up getting in each others way, This meant a weakened midfield that allowed Scunny to get back in the game and nearly get a point, More forwards does not always mean more goals without a midfield to support them

Presume you didn't watch the match then. Scunny never controlled midfield at any time during the entire match nor looked like getting a point

I did watch it yes and heard the sigh of relief at the final whistle, Had Bass not made a great save from the header in the second half they would have got a point.

Great save, behave Trev. It was a save made for TV.

That was as comfortable save as you will see for an effort on target. Bass made it much more difficult with his theatrical dive than it was.

By the way, too many attacking players?. Did you want us to set up ultra cautiously with a defensive line-up at home to the worst team in the Football League, behave Trevor

I would prefer to concentrate on what happened for the majority of the first half where players like Angol Vernham Walker and lord Luton were excellent and why the latter two should be signed if possible. Rather than the second half Rubbish

I hope the rumours that Vernam is off to a league 1 club in the summer are false. He would be my first priority of the out of contract players to persuade to stay.

I would love to see Walker signed on a permanent, my gut feeling is that another Scottish club will take him.

I would like to see another loan deal for Pereira, he is an exciting talent, however, he needs to be coached in when to release the ball as he has a tendency to try to do too much.

Angol is a really difficult conundrum for me. Clearly a very good player for this level, but his injury record cannot be overlooked when deciding whether to offer him a new contract.

I heard that yesterday too. As good as a done deal apart from signing on the dotted line apparently. However, no mention of which club so I'm taking it all with a pinch of salt at the moment.

After reading all these comments I think I am now a suicide risk! What a miserable lot. City WON. That in itself is rare enough to be thankful.

Yes he was decent, let the game flow….A sign of a good ref, you hardly knew he was there!

Oh and another, the Scunny lads didn’t give it Amateur Dramatics requiring brain lobotomies every five minutes. Hats off to them too.
