Lewis had to catch one cross, and don’t recall him having to make one save in 95 minutes!

Strange that Hughes doesn't play him instead of Gilliead, when fit then. But what does Hughes know, after all he's only got us 33 points out of the last 16 matches.

On reflection Watt was totally ineffective.

East helps us play through the middle. Moves the ball quickly and helps us retain possession. Gilleard better defensively and better running with the ball. East definitely made a difference today.

He carried on the form I said he had in the cup game, he certainly did himself more favours than Harratt when given the shirt. East had a decent game RT.

It was and it was pretty poor to boot for a team in contention.

All about opinions but I actually thought watt was the best player on the pitch especially on the ball. If any player on any side were going to create something it was him.

I do note, similar to his time with us, some of his passes were stat Padders and he lost the 50/50 with critchlow for the goal, but I think harsh to call him ineffective

How strange that they've performed at an extremely similar level all season.

    East must be really underperforming.

Watt comment….You are joking right. He was effective for them as he was mostly for us. Hollywood or bust. Sorry I just don’t rate him.

If it was two yards over, it would have hit the net!

Not just for picking up on Cook's run but making sure he won the 50/50 challenge with Watts his name.

He had a good game but wouldn't have played today if Gilliead was fit Kev. Has to play like this every week now.

Harsh but true. There wasn’t one pass, one through ball he played that put us under pressure. I watched him quite closely to see if we missed anything in his game. On that showing no.

How did you think Reeves looked when we played Stevenage, out of interest? Forget the fact we won that game comfortably, I thought he looked okay to be honest.

There today and if the attendance was right 3,924 no way will they get 12,000 in that stadium.

I said a few weeks ago, it depends on the opposition wether he plays. Today justified that to a tee. There are other oppositions where I wouldn’t select him, one’s with big bustling midfielders for example. Watt and Guthrie were small midfield players for them today. That’s why he had a good game because they didn’t overpower the middle. Hard to explain but that’s the second time he’s started recently, and he had good games both times.

Reeves is another “Hollywood” type player. Note we won that game too

I think, to be honest, either Reeves or Watt could play the East role - but we've East, and I'm not convinced there's much difference between the three of them.

    Just my thoughts.

Gilliead is a great alternative who offers something different, and suits it when we play more direct or physical sides as he's great at running with the ball and a better tackler.

All four are 'good' League Two midfielders.

Where we were stood to my left there was a huge guy so when Chapman cut across beating one defender then another to get a better angle I couldn't see what happened I was just waiting for the away end to erupt, I wondered how he hadn't scored.
