If we win little will be said if we lose Cook will take the usual flack, I don't want this scenario but if we lose 3 - 2 and Cook gets a brace I wonder how that will be turned around to be Cooks fault as he does little else during the 90 minutes.

 

If that's the end result you can guarantee there'll be some putting all the blame on Cook for not doing enough. Baffling.

 

I can't see Oliver starting to be honest unless Hughes plays him along side Cook, would Hughes change his preferred formation I'm not to sure he will.

 

It might be Gilly that's anonymous today. His partner's just given birth so he might not even be in the match day squad.

 

Agree with the talent we have in the side you'd expect more goals from midfield and defenders from set pieces.

 

Is Cook taking the flak for others who aren't providing the chances he was getting earlier? Foulds, Smallwood, Banks, East all provided assists but haven't for the last few games. We need to get back to that, but unless Hughes starts to get a settled 11 it might take some time.

 

Our defenders never look like scoring from set pieces.
Not got the "get in where it hurts" mentality of Rory McArdle or Andrew Davies.

 

Platt's had a couple of near misses. He'll be on the score sheet sooner rather than later imo.
