Ryan Sparks Interview

I can answer the timescale question for you. If we don't go up this year, we will be 3 seasons behind timescales, given Sparks said in April 2021 that anything less than promotion in the 21/22 season would be viewed as falling short.

 

Simon Parker is a waste of space in terms of his profession.

 

We see no engagement from Stefan Rupp. Why is that, and what are his intentions?

Can you explain the rationale behind the significant change in preferred playing style as we cycle through managers?

Over recent years, we've seen a string of clubs emerge from the non league's to catch and overtake City. What's the clubs assessment as to why we're lagging behind, and how are we going to rectify that?


There could be material, and hard hitting questions. The things that really concern fans. The questions that seem to be being answered recently, no ones really asking - or we're just getting standard platitudes. It's an empty exercise. Take GA in the paper yesterday 'I can assure you I'm being allowed for manage'. Is anyone, anywhere suggesting otherwise?

Either the club are deliberately swerving questions, or they're completely disconnected from the things that sre really concerning the supporter base.

 

Yes agree, like politicians they hate a proper audience , rather than hand picking one!

In fact, we should save this list and submit them to the Supporters Board next time they ask for questions before a meeting.

He gave exactly the answer any CEO would. And there was no new information, that hadn’t already been reported over the last 2 weeks.

 

What more can he do but answer the question he is asked including whether it was him or the manager were picking players to sign

I never said he did anything wrong. Just that the questions are pointless unless you are too dumb to work out the answers yourself.

 

No. I’m simply saying he gave a stock answer to the question. He was never going to answer it differently. I have no issue with that question, or with the answer.

The ‘issue’ I have, is that the interview is an empty exercise. It’s asked no hard hitting questions that speak to the issues really affecting the club. At least, it hasn’t yet. It’s a waste of an article, and a waste of time to read it. A tick in a box.

 

The questions are so inane and predictable that the whole thing just seems absolutely pointless.

If the next segments of this interview are as uninspiring as this then what is the actual point,apart from Parker trying to look like he has a genuine insight in to the club and it’s officials.

Well for one he can allow Simon Parker to ask genuine, deep ranging questions, and not just the ones he'd already prepared for him to ask.

Sparks is a joke, if anyone actually asked him a genuinely tough question he would shat himself and shut the interview down.

 

Already on-site, available, quick and cheap option, junior in the role so won’t rock the boat.

 

Something else we have Captain Admin to blame for.

 

WOAP is another group of yes people. They tip toe around Sparks and Rupp.

It’s no wonder this club has gone backwards. No one challenges the people at the top.
