I wouldn't call the protest a damp squib, neither were they earth shattering. I was there.
I do believe though that the club took notice.
I think we now have to wait and see what becomes of this. David Sharpe is a start.
We were not far away under Hughes, who showed a complete lack of bottle in the playoff's and then ripped up his own strategy and caused an imbalance in the squad this season.
As poor as we have been at times this season again 1 more win and we made the playoff's.
We do not need to throw the baby out with the bath water, just a few tweaks and hopefully with the increased season ticket revenue, we might just be there.
I have more faith in GA, than i had in Hughes or Adams, 2 huge ego's.

 

I am certainly not blaming the fans for the predicament that we are in, I am merely wondering why fans are surprised with the bull the club spout.

 

I know a poster on here who has just as wild opinions and does get the sort of replies Park does, unlike the guy I'm talking about Park does reply offering an opinion it may not be liked but he doesn't go hiding when we get a good result, unlike you know who, I'm still awaiting his response to him being on the front line during that protest the way he goes on about City fans being mugs ?.

 

Park is just as bad as Fordy, i think that's who you are on about.

 

They both have opinions with regards Bradford City, even though the majority may not agree, it wouldn't be worth reading if we did.

 

And you are just as bad as the rest of the cows arse rabble contributing to global warming. Possible due to the fact that swearing isn’t allowed on here. It must frustrate, I suggest therapy

Well we will have to wait and see if the BS stops and a more appropriate form of communication with the fans take place.
The problem we have is that we are asking for structural changes and there is no quick way of sorting that out. Sharpe hopefully will be able to steer the club in the right direction. We need 6/7 quality players in the right positions. The other problem we have is how big the budget should be. Great debate has taken place on here and elsewhere as to the budget being squandered and the quality players were not brought in and we bought squad fillers in. It is hard to dissect all of this in a few weeks.

 

I wonder if Sharpe will communicate all the things he intends to change at the club, or will that be akin to outing your CEO as not having a clue what they were doing?

Turn that statement on it's head 180 degrees and you have our CEO and owner exactly. Nothing heard from Rupp for ages then gives it large on X when we win a game, then retreats into the background afterwards when results are shocking again. Nothing from Ryan for ages when going is shite, season finishes well and he's giving it large in his 'love childs' paper saying how close we were, especially given the budget which he constantly 'bigged up!!'

 

In his quantum universe though we are actually UEFA Champions, multiple PL winners, the Chairman does a weekly podcast and meets fans regularly in the local pub before games and our CEO has won many, many business and industry leaders awards.....
