    Yes we do.

Palios has tonnes of experience in football management gained over many years. He is well respected in the business world as a partner at PWC. He knows what has to be put in place to have a chance of being successful.

In comparison, Rupp and Sparks know zilch between them. Therein lies our problem.

Glad he mentioned the failure of the PL and EFL deal of last week. I don't know why more owners don't speak out about it. The deal the PL voted on to give a better flow of funds down the pyramid was still a poor deal from the details for the EFL but a far better one than before and it's better than nothing as Palios says. The Orient owner mentioned it briefly on SSN earlier when talking about the independent regulator.

Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham & Liverpool are expected, they always vote stuff like this down. But Villa, Wolves, Forest, Palace and in particularly Bournemouth voting it down is a joke. All are recently EFL clubs, some for large parts of the recent past but Bournemouth, a team who had always been a lower league club until they bought their way out L2 to turn their nose up at the rest is a disgrace. Amazed more haven't come for some of these clubs, but I suppose they also don't want to snap at the hand that feeds.

That is l would have thought it. Fixtures and fittings such as seats and scoreboards would be the responsibility of the club. However fundamental structural issues like the stadium roof are surely the landlords? @Stafford Bantam@Stafford Bantam suggested that the roof would be the club's responsibility. Anyone shed any definitive information.

Get the stadium back in house and then the problem is put to bed.
I have never understood why they did not attempt to buy the ground whilst purchasing the club.
7 years Rupp has been here, at lets say £7500 per week rent on average over that period £390,000 per year, £2.7+ million. The agreement includes an approx 3% per annum increase, so in 5 years time, if we are still around, the weekly rent will be about £10500, who in their right minds will pay that for an aging stadium.
He would have got a large amount of his purchase price back by now, guaranteed returns for as long as he owns it , an asset when he comes to sell.
Seems like a no brainer to me, and in leaner times like covid, he could have given the club a rent holiday, instead of a directors loan etc.

It was interesting to here the minister for sport saying she had real concerns for football clubs at the lower level.
Many in danger of disappearing, sustainability her words. Who would have thought Bradford City, such a forward thinking club.

For the love of god Rupp, if you are not selling, then please sack Sparks, Gent and Alexander and bring in somebody like Jewell to run the club for you and appoint his own manager as soon as possible. If not, season ticket sales will be their lowest for over 15 years

He will never resign mate. Rupp needs to fire him straight after the match instead

Is the roof the only issue? @wetherbywhaler@wetherbywhaler should know if a structural engineer has completed a report.

I don't see the point in booing the players.
I don't see the point in sacking Alexander.
I don't see the point in attending games, though, either.

Ryan Sparks has killed Bradford City.

We've been telling him for the longest time that his methods wouldn't work, and here we are.

His methods haven't worked in the slightest.

    He's clueless.
    He's dangerous.
He's going to get us relegated.

If we don't, we're going to be relying heavily on some absolutely abysmal performances from 2 other sides

theres the clear and obvious consultant duo. Jags and Baldwin as transition to sell the club and Redfern in house already as an interim manager.
Jags can sign players for the summer in a system we want to play and get a manager in to do that system

And to be fair despite how badly it’s going would you at his age give up a payout?

Hmm, Paul Jewell and Dave Baldwin, or... Ryan Sparks.

    Such a toughie.

The silence from the clubs hierarchy is deafening from the top of our club. Should we be worried by that after this weeks shitshow?
