I agree. That's what I mean about there being no excuses. If he ignores what he witnessed on Saturday and what he was told first hand by a fan and does nothing, it will be unforgivable.

A few hours before isn't really any time to react to anything to take said package to the game.

It is a 1-2 page letter, not a package? Anyone could have printed it off and handed it to him. In any case I am not criticising the supporters group, and I would have gladly done so myself had I sat in the main stand

As 8 understand, it also includes responses from fans also, which were vetted to ensure no derogatory comments were included

Refuses any interviews and fan interactions

Then suddenly our secretive owners tells a random fan everything about money he's put in and potentially looking into buying the ground, and budgets :joy:

The covering letter is certainly only a couple of pages. The bulk of the package however contains several hundred individual messages to Rupp from City fans expressing their own views on how the leadership of the club has failed on many levels.

It's a poor response from the owner when he chooses to ignore when many fans took the time and trouble to put their thoughts in writing to him. There's no excuse for that. Hopefully what he saw on Saturday with the fans' reaction to the game will help to change his mind and to take more notice of the fans' legitimate concerns.

I was thinking that too. And all while said fan is hanging off the balcony railing. And prior to that, was waving a ten pound note in his face. Said fan will be dining out on this for a while. Tweet / Likes count must be going crazy!

Yes his Range Rover was in the carpark near the Morrisons Stand entrance.

Comments on WOAP suggest ongoing interest from investors in the US. I heard something similar last year, but nothing recent. Anyone heard anything?

Now has to be the time to really ramp up pressure on Rupp.

WOAP finally saying it how it is. When that happens, you know that discontent is now common place rather than a few disgruntled fans. Cmon Parker...grow some balls and completely lose it in your next article! The tides are turning, I can feel it.

This was posted in the WOAP article. The content suggests that there is more to it than an irate supporter. ‘At Midland Hotel on the afternoon of Friday 5th January a group of Americans walked in and sat talking in the reception area about finances of Bradford City, ownership etc. Nobody else around apart from the hotel receptionist. Seemed they had come from Valley Parade after a meeting with Ryan Sparks and were ‘de-compressing’. One of the things mentioned was that one of the grandstand roofs at Valley Parade may have been found to be structurally unsound, with significant financial implications. They did not seem phased by the roof issue. They said a lot and there are other details that could be mentioned, they seemed to be privy to a lot of information, with specific financial figures being talked about. Have heard from a good source that there has been American interest since summer last year’.
    Any thoughts about this?
Even a comment about the potential issues in respect of the Stand roof would help.

He may well have to use twice a year but am sure the local press reported he stopped with the Rhodes last time

Surely if the stand roof is dodgy that's Gibbs issue

Changing the seats and putting new dugouts in then yeh that's just cosmetic so city's call

But something structural is surely down to the owner to sort

I believe it’s the Kop roof that needs replacing.

I maybe wrong, and l am sure @wetherbywhaler@wetherbywhaler will know the answer, but to my mind this is a structural issue and should be the responsibility of the landlord, rather than the tenants Bradford City.

My understanding is that, under the terms of the lease, City are responsible.
