I agree with you and I'd be surprised if any else didn't. What some of us are saying is that if there are some green shoots of recovery (and us coming back in the latter part of the last two matches has to be seen as that, given our previous 'lie down and take it' attitude) then let's just forget that horror three months and move on positively

Not keep reminding us of how bad they were.

But yes and I said it was pathetic. The seniors like Vince, Law, NKP and McMahon have ruined the careers of obviously easily influenced younger players like McCartan, who will probably have to move on. It was pathetic, that they are mentally so weak that they've let the play-off defeat affect them seven months later. McCall, us, needed their drive. We got none.

Running around wildly celebrating.
They should have been getting the ball back asap and trying to get another goal.
It got me to thinking whether Grayson has instilled it in the team that this season is dead and its about perfecting shape and fighting spirit for the rest of this season.

 

We agree on most points, but doesn't it show how low our standards have fallen if were using our last three games as a barometer of the measure of how well we've come on, Saturday we got lucky mate, and the players knew it with their OTT celebrations, but yes generally I agree with your post.

 

We've inexplicably lost momentum and whilst I acknowledge a stuttering halt to our disappointing sequence of results,I cannot describe this, welcome as maybe, by recognising it as the green shoots of a recovery. Largely, as Bronco alludes to, we are still way, way short of the standards that creates a confidence in the ability of our team. The expectancy to overcome is tempered by the anticipation of failure which unfortunately leads to negativity.
