If i have to watch another player hoof the ball under pressure and make a fool of themselves again ill cry. Just take it past your man, hold it up and pass the ball. Id rather see a failed dribble than a failed hoof. Theres no backbone. We need some guts and some cockyness its just a bit drab and passive.

 

Guessing they stopped playing because they heard Sparks was after Adams and T&S weren't staying. As soon as the players hear a manager is going they lose interest. They're not invested in the club in the same way that we are. May sound harsh but just think of your own situation if you were looking for another job!

 

The players many of them were still under contract I imagine they’d rather be playing in league 1 than 2, as I say it would have been difficult for Sparks to get rid of T & S. regarding myself when I’ve looked for another job I’ve remained professional and done what I’ve been paid to do. They shouldn’t be ‘professionals’ if they down tools. I don’t want players at my club who won’t give 100% for their wage, most teams are full of players who aren't fans of the clubs but give 100%. Bolton for instance had a number of players on loan and short term deals but kept going when we fell away.

 

I didn’t see the warm up tbh, but if it’s anything like the game he’s not fit in the slightest imho.

Unfortunately, as it happened my mate ended up having to drive so I just had a couple of bottles of Saltaire from the co-op following by the pish they serve in the stadium. But cheers for the recommendation, I'll keep it in my pocket for next time round (no doubt next season!)
