That's what worries me. Too very young lads as backup to Angol who could get a long term injury at any moment. I can't really see Cook featuring much except as a late sub.

 

Hope he turns out better than the last “marque” player we signed from Hull City #goalmachine

As it stands, assuming the front line doesn't alter too much...

I could see Cook being the surprise package this season, especially if Angol cannot keep injury free.

Although I could kinda see Walker as top scorer, to be perfectly honest.

 

I am not worried one bit. Young, fast and bags of potential. I would not count Cook out yet, more mobile player around him.
He just needs to knock the ball down for them or get on the end of things in the six yard box, just like Bobby did.

 

I'd imagine there'll be some out the door to fund this. If Watt stays that's a decent midfield with options. Excellent signing, can't wait to see what Hughes can put together with this squad. It's been a long time since VP was rocking. Who wouldn't want to be a part of the revolution (hopefully). Well done to all involved.

 

it could even push another mini surge and perhaps the club had this in place for a while had the season ticket sales been around the 10k mark then this may have been announced last week but with the sales up on there predictions then they may have kept this quiet to pull in folk who maybe having 2nd thoughts

I get the feeling we have used a decent chunk of the budget signing Walker and Smallwood though, I'm not sure we'll see anymore marquee signings after this.
