I'm glad we have some experience at back, goalkeeper is a position that can be underestimated how important it can be to being a good defensive unit and in fairness the club have not messed around with finding a replacement for Doyle. A solid not exciting signing for me

I don't know if the lad is good bad or indifferent, but I do like this comment from "club news" :

I love a keeper who comes for crosses even if it means dislocating your centre half's shoulder doing so :thumbsup:

 

Unlike Doyle who never came for anything.

Andrew didn't at the time, neither did I, it's only that he's now an Evertonian and England's number one I've forgiven him , I think after a shaky start (yes I had my doubts about the lad) the lad showed what a good keeper he was turning out to be.
I have to smile, when he was at City and got the ball he kicked it straight out and 9 times out of 10 found his man yet playing for the likes of Everton and England they prefer to play it out from the back, I bet that frustrates the Hell out of Jordon.
