I'm not sure Songo'o was ever captain under Adams at Morecambe or Plymouth so I'd be surprised if he got it here.

Don't really get all the stick aimed at ROD, yes agreed he's far from the best keeper we've had but it's obvious he's here for another season and definately not worth spending any remaining budget on paying him off and then having to spend on another, when there's far more areas of the park we could do with improving on first. Personally I prefer SH but I don't think there's much in them to be honest. If our defenders can pull a great season out the bag then I think both keepers will be ok to see us through.

 

Oh absolutely agree, he’s back up for the season, no point in recruiting in another keeper when any available monies could be used outfield. His salary is paid, so he’s fine as Hornsby’s understudy.
Additionally I would keep him as Club captain.

 

I am inclined to think he will go with Hornby, purely for the reason that he likes to start play quickly which suits a fast counter attacking style.

Its spell checkers, certainly on my iPad. Even though one types the correct spelling it ignores it and defaults. Anyone know how to force a change?

I think if you put a capital H when you type it, the spell checker should ignore it.

With regard to the captaincy, would not be surprised to see Gillieard given the arm band. Think he will be a virtual guaranteed starter this season, Adams appears to think well of him, and he was captain at Scunthorpe last season.

 

Can you spell his name right at least once FFS

 

Him, Vernham, Crankshaw and Eisa could be rotated in the wide positions all year I reckon. Maybe even Angol shoehorned in there too.

On their day all look dangerous but fair to say all blow hot and cold?
