It's tough at decision time. I think Levi Sutton has alot of heart and I like his attitude, but for the automatic promotion side we aspire to be under MH, I wouldn't have Sutton as a squad player. He can't read a game.

I think the thing is we aren't going to have a full squad of 20-23 top drawer players on top drawer wages. We will have to have some cheaper players and if the price is right Sutton could be one of them.

Was Matty Daly still on loan at the club? Completely forgot he existed, along with the likes of Delfouneso, Elliot, Robinson, Lavery. I'm sure we've seen the back of all of them, along with hopefully Threlkeld and Evans.

Cooke and Sutton I do think both have their qualities and I'd probably offer them both contracts. I don't think MH rates them though so I expect they will leave.

I know Watt has come in for some flack this season, but it's not a surprise to me that he finished the season well. He is absolutely capable of dominating the league next season with the right players around him. Hope we can sign him up and build a team around him although I wouldn't be surprised to see him go.

At the back I rate both Paudie and Yann, but we are very slow there. I'd like to see a pacier option recruited, especially if we are looking to push higher up the pitch.

Interested to see what Abo Eisa can do if he actually stays fit.

I said the same on Saturday, I'm that he tried too much and needed to release it earlier at times.

Watching the highlights back too though he had a hand in the first goal and directly created the second so he definitely is having an influence in the final 3rd.

“contract offered” but not accepted/ agreed , eg Watt, Vernam, perhaps?

 

I also thought the intensity of the game caught him by surprise, as he was unable to influence the game for the first 20-25 minutes.

I think he thought it would be a stroll, and it took him some time to wake up.
